My car was delivered to my dealer Friday Aug. 25th......And its still sitting there! No MSO paperwork so they can't deliver it, and no one seems to have a clue where it is......2SS, Riverside Blue...

Dealership ordering manager just informed me that (yesterday) my 2SS 6MT 1LE TPW changed from 10/9 to 11/6.

And I have the inverse issue right now: my dealer has the invoice and could technically process the sale but the car is still bayed in the shipping yard at Jack Cooper Auto Transit.

I took delivery on mine last week. Loving it, the NPP is better than any of my previous Vettes.

I've been 3800 for weeks now. The dealer said, "4 - 6 weeks" ... not holding my breath for even that. Pretty sad that a manufactured car is baling away in the sun on some lot.

It's not going to melt. None of them have perfect or flawless paint when they arrive, regardless of how long they sat before shipping.

Probably not. Just trying to be realistic though. These things are made to be driver in all types of environments so even though it's not ideal for them be sitting outside, they aren't fragile and in most cases will be just fine. Honestly though, I've seen cars that sat for a while show up in better condition than cars that shipped almost immediately. My wife's LT1 is a great example. The paint on that one looked like a Camaro that had sat outside for half of the year and it only sat for a little over a week total.

Just felt like venting a bit. I know, it's not going to melt. Time has run out for getting the car broken in for a track weekend coming up in October, but yeah, 1st world problems.

It would be nice to get it before another fed rate increase, at least.

Facts. Some of them are coming with bumper unclipped, paint scratched, etc. They just trying to push them out and QC has left the building it seems.

I placed an order for a 2023 2SS 1LE black M6 on April 28 at Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine TX. They said they get 15-20 allocations per month but now I’m realizing that those may not be allocations for my specific order. Got an initial build sheet number. In August after order still not accepted by GM the order got changed to 2024. My salesman always has his assistants answer my texts and they keep giving me the place that I’m in for the next Camaro. For instance I’ve moved from #36 to currently #32. What does that even mean?! My order still has not been accepted by GM and I really don’t like the way they give me these short, useless answers to my questions. I’ve already given a $1000 deposit which I was told is refundable and at this point I really don’t see the point in trying to order from another dealership since the elusive 2SS 1LE seems to be difficult enough to get. Should I just completely give up any hope of getting my order filled? I’m currently driving a 2020 2SS 1LE M6 in Shadow gray. She’s still beautiful and I won’t be that disappointed if I end up just keeping her but I would like to know if anyone has any idea what my chances are of the 2024 order getting accepted let alone built? Thanks for listening
