if being a "not real" ZLE makes it more likely I can get one, then I'm all about it. Bring on the Stealth-LE. I just want a well sorted track focused car from the factory that I can learn from/with. I suspect that lack of front aero won't be a bottle neck for me for a long time, and aero will be straight forward to add. Especially when all the engineering has been done for you by the OEM.

So yeah, it's not a real ZLE. If that bothers you, don't buy it.

and if you want my spicey take: The A10 isn't a real ZLE either.

You never know, except this time around it’s different. This is GM’s last manual V8, last of the ICE Chevrolet Camaro’s. There will likely never be another one. Couple this with a potential UAW strike and it’s going to be instant crazy demand like you mentioned.
If I’m wrong, I keep the car and enjoy the hell out of it.

Mike there’s one with 350 miles on it that’s a 23, blue and a manual in the classifieds. If the writers/actors weren’t on strike killing my work, I’d have bought that one as well.

You can always buy the factory OEM bits and pieces of aero from reputable sponsors online if you decide to add it after the fact. And easyyyyyyyy bud on the bold above^^

Newbie first time post. I ordered a new 24 a couple months ago the week that ordering a 24 was possible. I ordered from a small-town dealer that I really didn't figure could get an allocation, but he did. He called me last Friday and said my car had been built and was currently delayed in shipping. I wanted a 1LE but they told me that wasnt available. So, we will see. Great content here keep up the great work.

A "1LE" without the front aero would be disappointing, I think the ZLE canards may be the the biggest canards ever put on a factory car from a major OEM (or any size OEM). And they are the most distinctive and sinister looking single feature on the car IMO. I will probably order couple of spare sets ASAP in case GM stops making them, they get broken on track hitting stray cones.

DO IT!

I have done the same for "other" parts I feel will be hard to get.

Pretty basic sharkskin, 6 speed no sun roof, no red belts. Been wanting one for sometime now just finally pulled the trigger since it's the last year.

Order just placed for 2 sets of extra dive-planes. I found a place with a reasonable price and reasonable shipping cost.

I already have a like new backup splitter in storage, but no point using that until I'm done tracking the car. It gets peppered with gravel every track day.

If that's the case why not go with the CF aftermarkets? They would be much stronger and less prone to breaking just by sneezing on them (I hear the stock ones are insanely fragile).
