The torque to yield process on the stock head bolts wasn’t done right or it just flat out stretched the factory bolts. Has been fine now with ARP head bolts using the same .028 gaskets. My C7Z is running 11:1 compression with 19-20psi and hasn’t had a hiccup with ARP head studs. Same tuner for both

I believe the 20lbs was between the factory blower and the 2300, not the 2650. Probably closer to 40

I never followed up in this thread, but Magnuson achieved CARB exemption (D-488-61 and 62) close to a year ago, so it's a go in CA. If you ordered before then, like me, you'll have to reach back out to Magnuson, with a picture of your engine bay showing compliance, and they'll send you a sticker.

First the TVS 1740 - this is the tall lid tilted brick unit, its weight is 68lbs 2oz. Next is the Maggie TVS 2650 - this is the original 3 piece housing, its weight is 84lbs 10oz. I don't know if the newer once piece housing is lighter or heavier. Finally, I had a THP lid laying there so with the that 2650 weight was 82lbs 15oz. So in summary the TVS 2650 weights 16lbs 8oz more than the LT4 1740SC
