Didn’t promos have a panther on the “Camaro” fender emblems? Shame that changed, I was going to sport them. The new badges look better to me than the older black lettering emblems though.

Your 2021 definitely does not have the Panther styled 2024 collector edition badges that I was talking about.

The heritage badge you most likely mean was standard on the 5th gen and an option on the 6th gen, available in chrome and black. (It does look very good, though, I have the black variant on my car.)

Agreed, what I have isn't new, it's just a black Camaro logo on the front fenders like the image I posted. Agree with you and Fran, it does look good.

No you don't. You have the CAMARO letters but the CE badge is different than what you have.

Could that mean GM never had any intentions, even months ago when the 2024 configurator was "designed", to deliver any 2024 models prior to Sept 5 ? Not altogether impossible ; considering that the first batch of 24s were built on Aug 7 .

I realize people are still waiting for their 23s which must be doubly frustrating.

Right now, my 24 2SS vert sitting in the Lansing lot stuck at 3800 and more than likely will still be fenced when the inevitable strike hits on Sept 15.

Yes, thanks Gearhead SS but already figured that one out. But my point is that GM apparently never had plans to deliver 24s anytime soon. Heck, they can't even move out remaining 23s with efficiency.
The strike issue, while very real, certainly isn't giving them a sense of urgency to move out built stock , put money in the pockets of dealers and keys in the hands of owners.
Maybe I'm wrong but from all the posts I read about crazy delivery delays, that's just a(my) logical conclusion.
I seriously wish you luck with your position at your dealership.

Mine matches to the penny what I submitted to my two dealers six weeks ago. The computer-generated pics of the Nitro Yellow Metallic match almost exactly the pics I altered in Photoshop from a red version as well.

There’s two signatures needed on any deal and Shawn Fain doesn’t seem to be in the mood to sign anything anytime soon. There’s no way GM (or Ford or Stellantis) agrees to everything he’s asking for and he needs a strike to back up his tough talk. Brace yourselves.
