My ceilings are only 10.0 feet. I have a Buick GN on top and the ZL1 on the bottom. They fit perfectly in my garage. Anything else may be too tight. |

Overall 2 post IMO is a much more usable lift. Much easier to swap wheels, make suspension adjustments, as well as most other routine maintenance. You can still park another car under a 2 post as well. I currently have a low rise MaxJax lift, but I'm looking into getting a full size BendPak soon. If you only want it for storage and don't plan to work on any of your cars, the 4 post is definitely the better option.

This is probably the most important bit of information in this thread. More often than not the limiting factor isn’t the height of the ceiling. It’s the height of the garage door when it’s in the open position and the height of ceiling mounted opener. Just by design, adding the wall mount opener and raising the door rails will get you more lifting space.

Sorry no I don’t, my brother in-law is currently driving the Beamer, but with a 9’4” ceiling and with camaro on it there is a 51 inch clearance from the ground to underside of the lift platform

I have 10' ceilings and I have no idea how this can be done at that height or even less. Has to be super close tolerances. |

not to hijack the thread, but I'm leaning towards a full rise scissor lift > Stratus is coming out with a 9000 lb scissor lift that will give a 6 foot working height
4 post are great but take up a lot of room, if your garage is small , IMO... |

Or you could consider a one post lift like my son in laws for his BMW M2. He had a 3 car garage on his last house. They build a new house but due to constraints on the lot size they went up instead of out. So he found these one post lifts and decided to buy one. They are the heaviest steel I've seen, it's pretty awesome.

It's scary and amazing at the same time The mere thought of the torque trying to twist it out of the concrete base when the lift is at its top position with a Camaro on it fills me with both fear and awe That said, I'm sure this setup works just fine, but it must require some crazy base prep.
