Seeing as this car will be my daily driver, I will absolutely be treating the leather frequently and often to avoid stains.

Has there been any mention of when the Riptide Blue will become available?

Idk if I should be, but I've been stressing over my order. I placed mine back in the first week of July and it still has not been accepted by GM... I pretty much live in this thread now waiting for updates.

It is available now, just in limited quantities. I have a Riptide Blue 2SS Convertible with a 9/4 tpw ordered now.

Just got a call from a central Texas dealer saying GM just hard confirmed to dealers that 1LE will NOT be offered on ZL1 MY 24 at any point, rug pulled. Anybody else getting these messages? @GearheadSS what are you hearing

Nope, haven't seen anything that definitive. Just what I've already posted in that it's not likely that they will build any.

Does it seem odd to anyone else that you still can't build a 2024 on the website?

Yes, as much as we all love the Car Gm is handling things poorly

Probably a primary focus on placed/sold orders until they know what is happening with the UAW strikes. Marketing the ‘24 could drive down interest in the ‘23 if casual consumers know a new one is available (or soon to be). Trying to move the ‘23 while not wasting marketing money on the ‘24, in case they won’t be built for a while after September (or many at all).

Yes, especially since 2024s are in production already. They haven't even told us dealers when they expect it to go live.

I'm hoping it's more they still have something up their sleeve type of thing, and less they couldn't be bothered.

I get the impression those more experienced with GM are less optimistic though.

Build and price websites being delayed isn't anything that surprising, but it really feels like there are zero GM employees supporting the camaro, besides the plant workers. Look how lazy (IMO) the last "CE" edition is compared to the dodge send off.. Also, I think I read somewhere that Al got put on the hummer EV program too.. It all makes sense given the end of production nearing, but bittersweet to see.

I don’t think they go live on website at all for order creation. I think the numbers are so small and the demand is so big they can and are relying on direct dealer build and entry. Just look through here at how many people are stuck at 1100. Open up ordering on line and all you do is piss off more customers. Why risk it?
