Cluster Oil Pressure 0

So yesterday when for a cruise with the Pro charger already installed, everything was going well until I get back home, I notice the car enter in a limp mode it wouldn't rev more than 1500rpms. When I look in the cluster oil pressure was at 0 I quickly shut the car down an start diagnosing, I hook up the MPVI and open VCM scanner and to my surprise I have oil pressure in the program and I can see the oil pressure sensor voltage working. For some reason the oil pressure is not coming in the cluster.

I literally just had this happen to me too. Changed the supercharger out and did a few misc cleanup items in the engine bay. Started the car for the first time this spring and 0 oil pressure on the gauge. I believe I actually have oil pressure since the car idled for 10+ minutes before I realized it (!) but still shows 0 psi. I changed the sensor and that had no effect. I’ll be digging into this tomorrow morning in depth and will let you know what I find.

I just started my car again and had oil pressure on the cluster for around 40 secs and then straight to 0. No Cel or anything. I am baffled.

Yep, we had missed a harness reconnection at the back of the blower. It was unrelated to oil pressure too, that was the weird part. But I suspect any open harness connection can cause that.

Ahh that makes sense , I do have the evap solonoid disconnected and the cam phaser unplugged since I did the katech front cover . I’m getting tuned today maybe after turning them off in the tune they should work. That’s interesting thank you 🙏
