The dealership in my town just sold a black 2023 ZL11LE for $142,600 Canadian and it was in the dealership for only a week so I can’t imagine what 2024 would go for?

That's where I got my LT1, it was 3hrs away but they had an allocation for me after another dealer didn't get one as quick. It was my second purchase from Fairey Chevy and I would recommend them for a painless deal. I did see your car on their site last week, very cool!

Small world! Hopefully car buying won’t be as painful in the future as it is these days, but I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to buy through them again, even if travel was needed. Thanks for the compliments on the car! Love it - it is even more stunning in person than I expected and drives like a dream!

Dealer salesperson got back to me this evening this is the txt conversation;

“Robert, It has been super busy today. I spoke with my manager a few hours ago and he said let me think on that (My Offer) for a bit and I will get back to you.
Well he just got back to me and said he would consider the offer you are making but he is not taking any deposits over the phone! He said if the customer is in front of me I will most likely go for the offer.
When can he be here? I said he is away for the weekend.
Let me know if you can come in Monday or Tuesday to sit with me and Carlos and wrap this up for you. I wish I had a more concrete answer. Talk to you soon. Mark’’

So I offered $1500 over msrp for the 1SS they wanted $3000, they won’t do any online paperwork or even take a deposit,which wouldn’t be until I get home from vacation.
I made what I feel is a good offer,
the sales manager wants me to ‘sit in front of him’ and he’ll ‘probably accept the offer’ sounds like I’m being sent to the vice principals office for a beat down.
What I’m not understanding is why they couldn’t say either we accept or reject the offer, why sitting in front of him makes it more likely to accept the offer, maybe there going to make me feel special in some way (sarcastic)
I replied to the salesman with the same above paragraph and adding that they might sell the car out from under me over the next couple days, so I also can continue shopping at other dealers.

I know this is a thread for new prices but if you’d like a insight on used, my 2022 2SS 1LE with A10, CPO, and 11k miles I bought for $46k and drove from Houston to Miami area and back within the last month. This was after searching for a little over 2 months.

M6 models used were cheaper I noticed closer to $40 and I only got close to two other regular 2022 2SS cars that were $47 a piece but they sold within the week of listing.

There was one 2023 2SS 1LE M6 car at a small dealer that went unsold for a solid month for some reason (thinking the same upsells and bait/switch)

Never the less, here’s my excel sheet that I used and updated up until early last month with Cars.com and CarEdge listings along with what matched my search (MRC equipped cars/1LE’s) on Facebook

Open on desktop - https://1drv.ms/x/s!AsH22DOMp_qspolXunT_hCGcJAzuCA

It’s probably super confusing so I’ll give a slight overview of the tabs for those interested.

(They all say SOLD due to me not updating anymore)

Manheim - Cars from Manheim auction (find those Hertz and laugh, especially that $75k one they refuse to budge on )

MRC - MagRide cars that I kept track of from Cars.com and CarEdge

1LE FB - List of 1LE’s from FaceBook (including the one I bought)

Repair-Appraise - Me just getting an idea of a cars worth and trade-in values

Values - Mostly the averages MMR breakdown of cars by spec, and some tables for my formulas to pull data from

QR Code was a way to find out if a car had NPP and MRC without the window sticker (such a pain without the window sticker)

-

Maybe it’ll help, maybe it’ll give insight, maybe it’s incomprehensible but man did I spend months on that sheet

Man, you put some serious time and effort into this one The sheer amount of work keeping it fed and up to date is remarkable, and it would be pretty useful to me if I were looking to buy a Camaro.

@Kamero6 yea something smells fishy,
I know they have already window etched and key fob replacement for $598
that I’m not interested in so that would have to be taken off the sales paperwork, I’m actively looking elsewhere.
And just spoke with a dealer in PA earlier they have what I’m looking for they do remote sales via internet/ fedex a few hundred under MSRP just waiting for them to send me the official quote, a 180* turn from the dealer I’ve been dealing with and their nonsense. So hopefully this works out

You got a hell of a deal on your 22. I don’t see any 2022 2ss 1le’s for less than 50k. I woulda bought one instead of ordering a new one if I did. Also I have no idea where in the world you are seeing 2022 2ss 1le’s with manual trans for close to 40k unless they have a ton of miles on them. All the ones I have seen are 50k (which is why I ordered one instead).

There were a few I remember seeing on private party but less then three I can recall, there is actually still one other car (was my backup car if this one I ended up buying didn’t work out ) 2022 2SS 1LE A10 with 19k miles in rapid blue. It’s in the Facebook 1LE page in the excel sheet. Originally I messaged him but he never responded and by the time I was already confirmed on getting the white 1LE he responded with the VIN. I went with the white car mainly as I already started the process, it being CPO, and the carfax for the rapid blue one stated engine replaced. While that’s fine under warranty, I leaned towards the white one as I saw it a better value. It’s still listed at $47k just gotta hope they respond. Edit: Heres the listing, may be the best priced 2SS 1LE A10 car out there currently (after mine )

Plus the one 2023 1LE 2SS M6 that was on cars.com at like $47 for a month, I’m pretty sure they were bait and switching as other 1LE’s came up later and sold faster but if I find that again I’ll link it. Edit: looks like it finally sold. Looking at Cars.com though I’d say at least 3/4 of the cars still listed are the same from when I last updated

I wish I’d saved those but sadly I tunnel-visioned the A10 towards the end and skipped adding any manual cars

I missed out on an allocation for a 2023 2SS MX0, NPP, F55, and Navigation. I was on waiting lists at four dealerships for a 2024 2SS. I was willing to settle for a Riptide Blue although my color of choice was Shadow Grey. While waiting to hit what felt like the lottery for a 24 allocation I repeatedly built a 23 2SS on the Chevy site and expanded the inventory search for up to 500 miles and came across a Shadow Grey 23 2SS 1LE, MX0 in transit at a dealer 125 miles from home in an adjacent state. Dealer charged MSRP but they applied the $750 Chevy Customer Cash and $500 Military discount and also $2000 off if you used their preferred financing (GM Financial). Ended up paying/financing $51,460 instead of Window Sticker price of $54,890. Like BLACK3R mentioned be patient and keep looking and you may be surprised what you might find!

Great job - and proof again that there are deals to be made. With the dealer discount, rebate and price increase for ‘24, it sounds like you easily saved $5K+ compared to the price of a ‘24. Nice!
