Talking Throttle house '24 Mustang GT

Apparently Throttle house not very convinced about the '24 Mustang GT. Camaro 6th gen still is the one to beat after 7 years of the 6th gen. https://youtu.be/pyAkHBjNLS8

Love the Throttle House reviews. And Thomas can really drive. BTW Thomas is also a huge fan of the 1LE.

Check out Thomas talking about and driving
a 1LE at about the 12:47 mark of this review of the new Z.

Looks like the alpha chassis is still the superior chassis, but on the higher trims ford has been giving the mustangs some real serious tire foot prints where as the ss 1le has been at 305 rear and 285 front since 2017. Unfortunately since Chevy never updated the lt1 we have been stuck at 455 horsepower so the advantage in a straight line (mainly from a roll) are definitely going to be in favor of the Mustang. If the track times are close enough I may get a gen 7 mustang in the future unless I decide to mod my upcoming 2ss 1le.

Very interesting video, thanks for sharing it. Without doubt the 6th gen Camaro is a much better handling sport car.

The new Z is ugly IMO. I much prefer the look of a 1LE.

Unhappy

Very disappointed to see that the last muscle car does not have a better shifter (instead of the Tremec in the Camaro and in other more expensive Mustangs like the one in the Shelby GT350, Mach l & Dark horse). Numb feeling steering instead of improving on it. Awful looking Ipad style screens that are not integrated to the dash, I prefer the analog looking style and inside the dash. And another overpriced Mustang for what you get. The number one Muscle car still belongs to the next soon retired Camaro. Too sad to see it gone out of the picture very soon.

Shocking that Ford is still putting the MT-82 garbage manual trans in the base GT and not the TR6060.

Also, the awful double screens in the car. Really bad.

Exterior design is not good.

Funny that the outside from several angles looks like a 6th Gen Camaro.
