K&P Engineering's oil filter - reuseable filter

What do you guys think of this? Any feedback? Sorry if this has been posted before.

It is a re-usable filter that is machined from billet aluminum and uses a fine surgical stainless steel mesh to filter the oil. It filters down to 5 microns and 1 square inch of material flows 1.9 gpm

Cleaning video:

Eric Darr of Dimple Products mentioned it to me when I ordered some magnetic drain plugs. His magnets are installed into the filter as an extra measure to attract metal particles.

Also, it looks like you would use the same amount of money in brake clean as it would be to buy a filter

Thanks for the expected feedback. My first thought was, this is an elaborate expensive product for a non-problem.

The problem is the filter does not hold any material, it only blocks it. So, when you shut your engine down it goes back into the oil pan. That's what it seems to do anyway. My Harley had a lot more junk at the bottom of the "pan" with this filter.

$200? I can buy 30 AC Delco filters for that which which would last me decades. And they filter better and I don't have to spend 20 minutes cleaning it.

Seems like a product providing a solution to a problem that doesnt exist. Id rather just replace the filter, seems faster and cleaner to do.
