I wouldn't go to CSP, they did the work on my car and failed to do the stage 2 intercooler I requested. I discovered it after high intake temps and blowing an intercooler hose off causing the tire to rub a hole in the fender liner. They told me I'd have to purchase one brand new ($1,500 their cost) and bring the car back up to be retuned after spending over $20k with them. I found one used and did it myself... Then had Jannetty retune it and needed LT4 injectors as I was at 6.5+ms.

I have a Procharged 18' SS. Mods:

-Motor was fully built by LME (still 377) to handle 1500hp.
-The cam is the BTR stage 2 blower cam.
-E85 (car is tuned for about E70)
-Longtubes--->no cats--->Corsa.

Fuel system: LT4 pump, LT4 injectors, Aux pump under pass. side.

I don't know the exact pully combo between the ati damper and the procharger pulley but I usually see around 9 psi.

Car made 753whp as it sits. Tuned by G force in Texas.

I bought the car this way. Previous owner reached out and I ended up with all the build sheets and info I needed, so I lucked out big time there.

My question: I want to upgrade the p1sc to the D1x. I see procharger can do that and I am thrilled. But the issue becomes fueling. I really did not want to use water/meth for obvious reasons. This car is rock solid reliable and has a great tune. I can daily it. The meth scares me as one simple failure can cause a catastrophe.

For some reason, most people that tune these cars want meth instead of larger injectors etc. and I need some input on why and how safe it would be to use meth like that. I get the Direct Injection system sucks and is basically the reason why but some others have told me you can just upgrade the injectors and that fixes the issue. The closest place to me that is known is RPM in delaware. (I am in PA) They are in the meth camp and even have their own kit.

I guess I just need to know next steps so I can upgrade the blower and still keep the car pretty reliable.

Thanks!

More people need to get back to these forums the whole facebook thing is a train wreck of bad information.

Im with you, I am not a fan of Fertilizer pumps for supplemental fuel.

Luckily your options are growing for the DI.

LPE big bore pump combined with FIC +30 will support north of 800 on E85.

LPE big bore pump combined with XDI +65 will support 880 RWHP.

My personal Favorite, XDI secondary LT4 pump combined with XDI +65 Does 1100+ RWHP on E-85

These Three options are all controlled by the Stock ECM.

Depending on your power level you may find the limits of the Aux system.

I really like the Fore innovations Triple pump in the stock tank.

The Toohighpsi, Port injection is another great Option I don't think anyone has found the limits yet.

Any question don't hesitate to call me. 203-753-7223

You may want to tell Brett that as Pray has a pretty big following on FB

Seems to be doing pretty well in his new shop and followers....

You definitely took that out of context.

Brett and I get along very well.

Just go read some of the groups question and answer section.

Just highlighted what you said... not taken out of any context. It was Brett's decision to leave this forum and go to FB, and by the looks of it, he is doing quite well with his new followers and shop. I wish him nothing but the best. I know both you and Brett are great tuners, but to slam FB as a 'train wreck of bad information' was premature. Everyone has an avenue such as FB which they prefer to use, and if it works, great. Personally, I am not a FB fan, but the mindless videos are humorous to watch occasionally.

Jannetty is 100% accurate on it being a trainwreck with opinions and claims. The Brett comment is way out of context and connecting dots that aren't there. Facebook has trillions of posts not just Pray's.

Another FB lover I see

Look at the facts before you post.... Pray is on FB along with hundreds of other
shops posting daily. Brett is doing pretty well on FB as an advertising platform, so why do you think he is not here?
Agree with Ted that there is a lot of dis-information on FB regarding cars/mods/etc. with hundreds of FB forums, but would not go as far as calling FB a "train wreck of information"- you just got to weed through the BS to find the truth.

Wish i wouda hit that billion that just hit geezzz lol.

Couple things to be sure is ck afr on both banks. Sorder all electral connectons including fuse connectors.

And run so much meth that if it does quit suddenly the car will be so lean it just falls on its face, ie no fuel no damage.

lt1 intake is very poor to put meth in front of it lt2 much better.

:happy anim:

b) Too high psi port injection system with reflex controller.

option B will provide even more fuel headroom support that option A for less money but you will want to dedicate the aux low side pump for the port system and run -10 lines all the way up to the port injection rails if pushing the 1k whp territory.
Totally agree with King, there are a lot of Procharged cars with THPSI PI or some are running other options with the Reflex controller. CJPerformance is running TooHighPsi PI with his Procharger, he's really worked hard learning to to it with really no experience but has really made some serious progress and many others with PD blowers. Good luck on your choice.

Man that really sucks, I do have to drive 25 to 30 miles go get E85. I usually make an excuse to drive my Camaro to go eat close to the stations. Sometime I'll take my truck and load up four or five fuel jugs and bring them home for the Camaro, my wife car also uses E but we only run it in the summer and go back to petrol in the winter.
