Air conditioning blower reduction during spirited driving
It is very hot down here in the great state of Texas and therefore the A/C needs to be on high for extended periods of time.
I noticed that upon spirited acceleration the blower speed would decrease without my input on the A/C controls. Is this a feature to maintain max power under acceleration? Anyone have this experience? |

It's supposed to do that so it doesn't interfere with you spirited driving. It should only shut off at WOT. We all live with it, I'm sure that all High Performance brands do it

Yes, the AC will bow to acceleration.

Also the alternator will stop charging and Radiator fans migh stop too.
I makes sense because in less than 4 seconds you will be over 60mph, plenty of air My old dodge neon with a dead battery would dim the lights badly at night at WOT lol |

Correct; the A/C and a few other things will dip out at certain conditions like WOT and so on.
