My 13 year old daughter and I are going to drive up to the Factory on Sunday to celebrate getting a Collector's Edition allocation. I used to work at that site in the Powertrain building from 1994-1997. The parking lot I parked my new 1995 Beretta in is where they built the plant, up by the highway. Actually the new plant is freaking huge and takes up more than other plants that have been there in the past... but they make the Cadillacs there too... We will cruise up in the 2023 convertible... top down baby!

Just broke 250 miles in her today. When I started looking for an SS I had no idea how hard it was going to be to find. I got lucky and found exactly what I was looking for in St Louis. She’s PPF’d, ceramic coated and ready to go.

Thanks to Gen5diy for the wiring for the radar detector direct wire harness!

Thanks! Yes, it’s SGM. I had a Watkins Glen Gray C7 and this thing puts it to shame with the color. I’m coming from a PP1 GT, and this car feels so much more planted and has instant torque. I’m amazed at how well it handles.

Based on my 1SS, I could just imagine what that 1LE must feel like. Beast mode.

Upgrade to those wheels and tires and you'll be 75% of the way there (if you have magnetic ride control). Add a splitter and side skirts for a 85% 1LE experience, brakes will take you to 90%, that's where I stopped (the electronic diff cannot be retrofitted into a non-1LE, and I won't lower my car).

I've always wanted the 1LE, but it's been a little out of my price range. I already have the front splitter installed but wanted a little more aggressive spoiler so I ordered the Anvil notched spoiler, which was delivered today. On the fence whether to install it or not.
