Engine sound
I got a 2023 2ss camaro and the last two day i notice the car doesn't sound the same. It not as loud as when i first got it. Just hit 1000 miles. Where before i could have the radio loud and still hear the exhaust. In not in stealth mode so dont know what changed

You may have become accustomed to the exhaust by 1000 miles and it doesn’t seem as loud to you now. Just a thought!

If the car was in track mode previously, it will default back to Tour when you turn the car off and then turn it back on. In Tour, the sound is much quieter. I see you are in Commie-fornia. If that were not the case, I would recommend some long tube headers for some extra sound in all modes. |

Just go into your settings, put exhaust in track mode, and it will stay there regardless of what driving mode you are in. Perma LOUD!!!

You started out with a new clean exhaust. It now has soot coating the inside , you need to blow it out. Italian tune up. My to 2 cents.

They're called the "FREE black exhaust tips package"

Maybe you're in 4 cylinder mode more often? THAT, right there sucks IMO. I just got my LT1 and the V4 mode kills the experience for me. After owning a fully built N/A 2001 Camaro, this LT1 is quiet as hell. Cant wait to shut the AFM/DOD off and install a full exhaust system.

Just curious, do you still have your V4? I can't imagine having it with all the mods you have. That car must be really fun! I don't mean to diss it. It's just not for me |

Interestingly, I inadvertently set my fuel economy record (33.4 mpg) after getting a tune that disabled AFM (that tune must have been spot on), but I don't even have the AFM lifters anymore. You can imagine fuel economy is not exactly in the 30s with the new engine internals and flex fuel either, no matter how I drive, not that I'd be looking to beat that record

Since changing my exhaust I know I would not want the dual mode factory exhaust.
