Im tempted to buy 1, reverse engineer it and then machine my own lol. thats an easy part to make.

I’m not sure what the pistons are made of, but I think Stainless Steel has a pretty low thermal conductivity rating. Might not be a bad idea.

Definitely. There is a lot more work involved in becoming an affiliate than just posting a link, so when I can, I like to make $1-$2 worth of commission.

Ok the pistons with bigger vents are from a CCM caliper, the reason I say that is because I have a set of CCM calipers laying onthe work bench from a C7 Z07 car and also did a pad swap on my 5th Gen with C7 GS/Z06 non CCM calipers an they had the smaller vents. Currently planning to rebuild with the Racing Brake kit. Hope all that made sense.

Looking for info to rebuild my rear calipers (at least to replace the boots and seals) since I'm rebuilding my fronts. Anyone have the part numbers for rear caliper kit & pistons (SS 1LE) ? And are there vented pistons that fit the rear like the Z06 ones that fit our fronts?
