Canceling a recall that is no longer applicable

I've been getting regular notifications via several channels about a recall affecting the GM performance cold air intake that I originally ordered with the car (what a noob mistake, oh well) but sold in the meantime.

My problem is that nobody seems to be able to just cancel this recall. Tried two dealerships and they couldn't mark the work as completed without uploading an ECM tune to the car, which I obviously don't want to allow.

Does anyone know of a way to simply cancel/delete the recall, or at least mark it as completed without flashing anything into my car? Naturally, I'd be okay with signing any waiver or receipt. It's annoying to see the same warning every single time I log on to my account or use the phone app, even just the emails that keep coming.

(I know I could just let them do it, then write my own tune back, but I'd need to buy extra credits for that, plus I'm a bit worried about their calibration software messing something up, because if I can't write my tune back, the car will barely be drivable...)

My GF get's mail from Dodge for the Challenger she sold three years ago. It just goes in the trash.
