I'm generally not an orange car fan, but man... That's one sexy ride! Congrats

Edit: my first 8 cyl oil change in many years so please forgive my ignorance
Don’t forget to do your first rear differential oil change if you haven’t done it yet, the first dump and fill will look yucky.

Yes, I'm going to change the diff fluid next Saturday. I'm also thinking of doing the tranny fluid as well. Just not sure if it's actually necessary at this point in time.

Resolved the clutch issue. The accumulator we had in the clutch line was leaking, so we deleted it and readjusted it by adding a clutch stop.

Fixed an oil leak that ended up originating from the valley cover area, so we pulled the intake manifold and found the DOD connector in the stock valley cover broke a retainer (they are plastic), which allowed it to pop up and start spraying oil out which in turn kind of ran everywhere, this was the major leak. So back when LME built my engine they didn't have this but now they make a billet one that deletes it as the car has a locked gear and DOD has been deleted. Ended up replacing the OEM valley cover with this nice billet one from LME.

Unless you track your car, it is not necessary to do your transmission for a while and also it’s a pain in the ass to do it the way GM suggests as it is almost impossible for me to get the transmission up to proper check level temperatures unless I start doing break stands which is not recommended. that is why I bought an oil pan and modified it to do a drain and fill by simply measuring what came out and putting it back in after changing the filter.

Very impressive setup!
I am no where near that level of confidence or handiness. When the time comes for that tranny fluid change, it's off to the dealer for me. Thank you for your advice, much appreciated. I love this platform, so much useful information shared by very knowledgeable people.

Went a little longer than usual before filling up due to a couple of road trips this weekend... it only took 17.7 gallons at the pump though.

Well you had about a gallon to spare, I would have had range anxiety!

Mounted my new Stance SF11 wheels in dual brushed gunmetall finish that are rotary flow forged and weigh in at about 25 lbs a wheel in custom 1LE offsets (20x10 +20, 20x11 +40). Really digging the new look and stance!

Country drive

Hey gang...havent posted in a while.

Took my Camaro out yesterday, dodging the rain and bugs. Not a fan of either.

Ending up going on some twisting roads and getting a smile on my face.

A recent moose collision with my truck has left me a little timid hauling ass so much. Paranoid another moose is going to jump out in front of me. So, taking it a little easy for the time being. It did feel good to row thru the gears!! That never gets old!

Peace out.

Lee

You've got your own little piece of paradise there Lee.
Enjoy those beautiful congestion-less roads. Btw, nice car.

What a beautiful car, a true eye magnet

Keep enjoying it, try not to conjure the memory of the moose, the past shouldn't be allowed to ruin your joyful present. It took me a while to get past the memory of my stupid ass wrecking my Camaro, but I'm through with that (additional mods helped, too ).
