Yes Vigaiante, I agree, heat soak is real at the race track and dyno between runs. Shoot, Doge Challengers can redirect the AC at the intake, and some drag races load ice into their intake charge coolers.

The OP is talking about returning from The Whole Foods Dyno and Chuck E Cheese Raceway at the end of the day. As you agreed, no need to open your hood in the garage for quicker cooling.

I think we are in sync buddy.

I can't recall ever doing it at home in the garage. I've definitely done it after some hard sessions in the canyons.
