Rear ZL1 rear brakes
Do the pistons push in like the fronts? Or, screw in with a special tool needed?

Thanks.
Some Powerstops are in my future. Tired of my rims looking like the haven't been cleaned in months after driving 20 or 30 miles.

Try EBC Reds, after initial break in, there’s much less dust

I have a water shield and hose them off. Try it first.
The bite difference in the OEM and aftermarket is too much for my comfort.

The rears will go in just like the fronts and ive not had to push in pistons any of the tomes ive been in there, the pads just go in n out w relative ease. The one thing i will say is to make certain the two pins are fully seated if if you have to give them some taps w a hammer as tgey will back out and the spring clip wont otherwise keep them in place.

I had Powerstops. They were wooden feeling and glazed the rotors. I went back to stock. Maybe ceramic coat the wheels?

Already did both 303 Graphine and Cerakote on them. Sure they clean up fairly easy but still not going to clean them when I arrive where ever I'm going.

Mine don't seem get much soot build up over 30 miles. Same as the chrome tips on my GMC Sierra Denali. Very little black build up.
