2SS, a10, 1LE, PDR. no Sunroof if you are tall, you lose quite a bit of headroom.

Either you’re very young and naive or new to the car buying business post the kung flu virus. There are no guarantees for allocations yet unless you’re willing to pay a hefty ADM.

With that said, build the car that you can look at in 10 years and know you picked everything you wanted. You got one shot so you might as well get what you pay for or you’ll sell it after the honeymoon.

Is it possible to purchase the alloy sport pedals after the fact?

Make it your own.... load it with options YOU want.
Mod it down the road if you desire... easily makes it faster than any stock ZL1 with a better supercharger than the LT4- go Maggie or Whipple for the same money.

The title says "How would you build it?", hence the page of opinions. OP is being helped here, no need to see grief into it.

Thanks everybody for your input (opinions) I appreciate your take on what you'd do or what you have already. Ended up going with a 2SS, 1LE, MXO (bummed knee provoked that one) Riptide Blue with PDR and a few adds like red belts, fuel door and emblems. Gonna be a pricey 2SS since Chevy wasn't bashful about hiking the numbers for their swan song model year. We shall see if it ever gets picked up.

Good luck, hope you'll get into your 1LE soon

This gives you the best value, it already includes magnetic ride control, big brakes, dual mode exhaust, and comes with the best Camaro wheels GM has ever produced—easily the most desirable SS configuration for your future buyer. The absolute, very best value is likely only attainable with the manual trans, but the automatic also works very well.

You can't really add any serious exterior options (such as splitters, spoilers, ground effects or side skirts) if you go 1LE, however, small tchotchkes such as fender badges and the black or carbon fiber fuel door are still worth it.

In terms of interior, every OEM option (except for the performance data recorder) can be added after the fact as you see fit, but if you're concerned these parts will go away soon, load her up with the carbon fiber dash panel, alloy sport pedals, console lid with the heritage logo, suede knee pads, illuminated footwells, and also throw in the cargo net so the trunk doesn't feel neglected. I'd get the navigation option as well, but won't mention it because of the local google maps/waze army itching to jump on anyone that wants DIC and HUD integrated, always available navigation.

The price will be pretty hefty for an SS, but if you don't mod the car and take good care of it, you should be able to recoup the cost and maybe even more when you throw her to the curb down the road.
Exactly this in Red Hot!

As Arpad said, if you don't mod it and take care of it you'll get more of it back. I don't know about fully recouping the cost, but I paid $41k OTD for my 2018 1SS 1LE. I've taken good care of it, garage kept, haven't tracked it. KBB says it's worth around $35 in a private sale, that's with 69,000 on the clock.

you're right, my bad for not paying attention.

For me, I just ordered and received my dream 23 SS Camaro. Dark red with silver wheels and a black interior, A10, silver ralley stripes and sunroof. (sunroof mostly due to smooth roof panel, not sculptured) I'll be curious to see what the OP winds up with, I'm sure happy with mine. I also have a 9 second Nostalgia Super Stocker so I have NO plans to mod the Camaro. worth more stock and can easily keep up in traffic.

Neither young, naive or new to the post chinavirus car buying biz. Just wanted to get a few takes on what current owners would recommend. As for the guaranty of a MY '24 allocation, you just never know with GM. My local dealer has been a straight shooter with me in the past on a few cars, they've kept their word on not kicking me with an ADM before and they put in writing they won't do it to me on this one. I'll just have to wait it out and see, which is par for the course in the Camaro world.
