If anyone is interested Tyee Chevrolet in Campbell River, BC has a ZL1 in VOM with the M6 built, awaiting shipping. They want $10K over MSRP. I offered MSRP for it today and they laughed at me. I guess I know where I won't be buying a new truck from next year. The website says it's an automatic but that is incorrect.

My 2023 ZLE was built on March 28th, but no movement since then...
Already waited for the car for 2 years and now it's built but stuck at the plant.
It's really a nightmare to get these cars in Canada

This is the first time I noticed some movement for Canadian deliveries. Hopefully you get some good news shortly.

Mine was built April 10th. Still at the plant as well. I’m not going to bail though. Getting a ZLE was too hard.

Not sure what they mean by a priority queue either, that isn't a GM status label that I have heard of. There are some ways to get priority (executive referral from GM is one example) but the dealer typically has little or no control in those matters.

Is your salesman jerking your chain, do you know if they actually have an allocation for your car from GM?

Sorry didn't see your post. I'm using their words, they wouldn't order the car unless I was associated with one of their priority partners. My union was so the order was placed...still order status 1100 and neither of us have much faith the car is going to be built this model year. Sounds like they will reorder as a 2024 and see what happens.

Seems kinda dumb they have all these people trying to give them 60K and they aren't building the cars.

Agree on GM's game plan when it comes to Camaros, strange that people want them and can't get them. Not the way to run a car company but there are some reasons for it, at least that is what I have been told from some higher ups at GM. Supply chain is the primary reason, chips are a big issue. They also have a shipping problem if your car happened to need a rail car to get to the dealer. There is a shortage of car carriers at the railroads. Think with the Camaro being phased out it has become like the adopted child, nobody seems to care much.

I understand the priority partner now, that doesn't help with the order though.

Good luck , I guess the best way to approach this is think it isn't likely to happen, keep your expectations low and if the order goes thru and the car gets built enjoy the moment, and the car
