Holy Hell... Major issue need advice
So I took the car to an auto shop. They told me the motor locked up / Seized. The engine has oil. What would cause an engine seize?
Only thing I can think of is maybe a rod or piston? But I would find that odd because I shouldn't be anywhere near that range for that to be an issue? Any advice, suggestions on how to best approach the issue?

Kinda a shot in the dark, most common would be a failed oil pump. What was it doing before kicking the bucket?

A 2020, hum.
Let me call the dealer I sold mine too, and see what caused it. Might not be the same but maybe a starting point t

To clarify, the mechanic used the term "Engine Lock" rather than "seizure" He said he tried to turn it but wasn't able to.

Doing more research, there is a thread on here, that talks about spun bearings. Another source I found talks about valves getting thrown into the engine which can cause a lock up. Other research says maybe a broken timing belt. I don't know to be honest. I'm the farthest thing from a Mechanic.
I am not sure it is applicable. I see this being the worse possible scenario, and I'm just trying to find out just how bad the situation is.

A bunch of 2020’s were shipped with a bad batch of valve springs. Typically the failure would occur in under 1000 miles but I’m sure some could have went longer. Yours could have shipped with a bad batch of valve springs which would have a caused a valve to drop.

I think 2020 was the notorious year for valve throwing with the LT motors, but I wanna say that was within the first few thousand miles.

Really bummed out by this. I'm not sure what to tell the shop, or if I should just tow the car back to my house until I can figure out what to do.

Going to be hard to determine without further troubleshooting. I would pull the plugs and look for damage on them. Might narrow it down to a cylinder if parts were bouncing around in a cylinder due to valve train issues. If it is due to a spun bearing that locked up the rotating assembly, will probably need to pull the oil pan to confirm.

It's a 2020 do you not have a drive train warranty on it still?

Gotcha...! I didn't look at Fluke's signature. Bummer...! it sounds very expensive. Best of luck with it though.
