Cars and Coffee sightings !

Went to Cars and Coffee this morning and saw an interesting ZL1 1LE plastered with branding ! When it fired up and drove off it was surprisingly quite I figure if it didn't have NPP then wow it was pretty quite !

From the pictures it looks like a Katech modded ZL1 and doesn’t need to be loud to run like a beast!

I totally agree... I was just shocked at how quite it was in general. I didn't really hear much of a CAM lope either. Just was interesting how stealth it was. With having the FlexFuel kit and everything else, I'm sure it was a BEAST !

Correct, Wife always say my ZL1 is quieter than the SS. Weird but true.

I attend this event frequently and it draws 400-600 cars each time. Many high end builds and exotic cars. Seeing more modern muscle all the time. NO ev's, go figure.

My car is just slightly louder than stick at idle or just cruising down the highway, but it still gets black flagged for noise at several tracks, including NCM at the last Camarofest. The ZLE in the photos is obviously a track car, so I imagine the owner is trying to stay under the decibel limits of certain tracks

Don't have to be loud to be fast.

And many tracks (particularly in the western US) have decibel limits.
