Since they’re emphasizing the panther name, would have been great to see the black paint combined with 2 rapid blue stripes across the center of the car. That would be very unique.

If it's truly like the color in post #5, that is god awful ugly. You're right it does look like the metallic on boats.

My wife's F150 was ordered in Tuxedo Black, and my old 2014 F450 was ordered in Tuxedo Black (the colour was discontinued when I replaced the 2014 F450 with a 2019 F350), then I went all in and ordered my 2015 Freightliner with the same paint code. I was a sucker for punishment.

It looks great when the vehicles are clean but it's a bugger to keep them clean. I wouldn't do it again.

Maybe they should not only use this color for the final Camaro production, but the whole car as well. I'm not used to seeing the wagon version of the CTS-V and the first thing I think of every time I see it is "funeral car." What could be more fitting for the Camaro this time around?

It's definitely the most bass boat looking color they've had. I don't think any other GM color has as much metallic in it.

I wonder if you could bolt an electric trolling motor to the Camaro accessory trailer hitch? In fact, with a little caulk and some floating seat cushions, the CE convertible could be an Amphicar for today!

I love black on any muscle car, but metallic to me just makes it look dusty. I think it hurts the best feature of black paint, which is that deep mirror like finish when it's all cleaned up. Just my opinion.

Agree 110% I've had only black vehicles since I can remember, and I still own 2 black vehicles. My Camaro was the first non-black vehicle I've owned in years and years.

100%!! I'm loving my Black ZL1! The Ceramic coating really brings out the deep black gloss and it shines like a mirror

They should use the Panther Black Crystal Effect or whatever that Audi used to (maybe still does?) have. Very cool color with purple/green highlights (like an actual panther) in the sun.

I have a Ford Edge in Tuxedo Black. Doesn't look nearly as glittery as that wagon though. Much more subtle. I'm actually getting it ready for a ceramic coating. Got it strip washed, iron decon, clayed, 2-step polished, now working on filling in paint chips with Dr. Color Chip. Will be ready for the coating soon.
