I missed the part that the car was in transit. So it has been produced and waiting on shipping and no one put a claim/deposit on it yet. Offer them MSRP and that you will commit with a deposit and see what happens.

Good suggestion, and he was almost 100% certain it wasn't on his June inbounds, he's going to call me back tomm with a ETA.

I bought my wife’s Mustang 3 weeks ago… that’s pretty current lol. Deals are out there but I’ll agree you do have to work a little harder to find them now.

This is the first time in my 72 years that I've paid MSRP, but minus the $750 rebate, $500 military discount and GM card earnings. I'm really happy with my Radiant Red LT1 6m, I highly recommend getting the Recaro seats too. I ordered it from Fairey Chevy in Orangeburg S.C.

I'm another senior citizen who has one on order. LT-1 Vert, 6spd, dual mode, Recaros,RS. Hope to hear something soon.
The Recaros were expensive, but add a nice overall visual to the interior. Have purchased many, many vehicles from my dealership over 4 decades. They're treating me in a fair way which is to say below M.S.R.P. |

Terrible time to be in the Camaro market and even worse now that Jan 24 is the final run. I wouldn't pay >MSRP for anything but a 1LE or ZL1, maybe a convertible.
None of you would sell a car for $5-10K less than the market commands. If you would you're just lying. |

So i missed the call from the dealer who is marking up the vehicle, his message said he talked to the manager and was able to reduce the ADM, but didn't say how much in that message, played phone tag and left message for him i would call back tomm for the details.
Also contacted a shipping co to get an idea about costs and that can run anywhere between $685 on the low end to $1400 depending upon truck haulers capacity to my area and at my requested pick up time. It's a supply/demand type of business or even a commodity type based on the fullest load going to a area (it's was a whole long conversation). Then I called two other Dealers with similar but compromises as far as equipped, one in MI, has one coming in but it doesn't show a date in their system and has 4 person on a list for it, I'm now #5 The other a state away has one that was originally customer ordered 9/22 and is now sitting at a place called Twin Oaks PA. maybe a train yard or hauler transfer station, says its due in 6/13. If i understood the sales person the original oderer backed out and got deposit back and several others in line too, she said there is a current name on it and believes it will be sold to that customer although it;'s not her sale so not sure, left my name & #. I agree with WhiteMale comment below its a 'terrible time,' up against limited availability, markups, and model closeout. At this point i'm also going to consider a used one if its optioned out to my liking.

Keep looking, don't pay over MSRP. You can use that money on the car instead of giving it to the stealerships.

Just got my 23 Radiant red 2SS about a week ago. MSRP was 51,810 I got it for 49k. Only had a doc fee of $200. Don’t pay over MSRP. If you have to find another car fly out and drive it back. Drove mine back 18hrs
