I also need a good low profile jack and a set of lift pads. The car's in the shop now and I don't have a pic to reference, but can I place the jack under the differential/center section and lift the whole rear?

Yes, use a block of wood on top of the floor jack circular contact area.

Call me crazy but, I run my ET Street SS @ 13psi. Now, I spend some time running in the street and it is where my car seems to work the best. I have thought about moving up to the 15 to 18 range and see if there is a change in the E.T.

You would think that owners would agree on the best street and strip pressures for this tire but there's a surprisingly wide range. I just did a Google search and see most guys posting PSI between 15-19 for the strip, and 25-30 on the street. My five hits were at 15.5-16 in the box.

Are you driving them around and at what pressure? Running around on them at 30-35 will wear down the center faster than the outer edge, lowering pressure now puts a dip in the middle of the contact patch. Wheel width can also have an effect on this. I've tested with burnouts on bare asphalt at different tire pressures and looked at the patch left behind. My last set of et street r's were on my RCSB F150 and 18 was the sweet spot at the end for my setup.
What is the car doing now that you are interested in changing them?

But every car is different. Mine makes 1000+ lbs torque on the hit

Marginal surface regularly, you might want to switch to a bias ply tire. It'll be alot more forgiving. Trying to apply 1k ft lb's of torque is no easy feat, I would be looking at suspension/chassis and/or some kind of launch retard to try to soften the hit.

I started at 20psi and have done lots of street testing with the dragy and worked it down to about 13psi and that seemed to be the most reliable pressure for good 60ft times. I have most of the BMR stuff under the rear and Kelltrac shocks in the back. I still have to pull a little timing from the hit in the street. Im sure every combo is different. At the track, car dead hooks every time.

I am actually surprised to see some of these pressures...
Myself and pretty much every modern muscle car I have ever seen has run the 305/45/17's in the 18-22psi range max. Lower starts to cup the tire in all of my testing and higher loses contact patch. I run 25-30psi for street driving, but the ET R's wear out too fast for street driving, and at the constantly inflated cost and scarcity of finding them at times I try not to DD on them when possible.
