ZL1 valve spring info
So, I told myself buying a certified pre owned ZL1 would be fine, but I can't shake the feeling of someone giving it the beans before selling it.
I was looking for info on stock valve springs and rockers that come with these cars and the search feature on this forum is not working for me. I keep getting a white page. Anyone have info on this? I have a blue driver cheap scan tool but it's obviously not showing any issues since there are no codes outside of some cleared ABS / radio codes that looks like the battery was disconnected at some point. |

The valve springs are a 90lb beehive similar to what is used in the LS3/9. Aside from the offset, The rocker arms are the same slider tip roller design that GM has used since the Gen 3 LS1 debut in 1997. They are generally very reliable even in big HP builds. No need to upgrade them.
