Watched the video and some things I do not agree with. But it is a pretty valid video.

Thank you for the entertainment.

That said... I am not comparing the same 3 cars...

Mine

2013 Stang
2017 Stang
2020 Camaro 2SS
2021 Scat Pack Widebody - WAY WAY WAY better than most give it credit - for instance, this car on the canyon carving mountain roads, like tail it was fantastic.
2023 ZL1

How was your buying experience with the three manufacturers? custom orders, markups, financing, general attitude?

And to build on this, honestly did you have the same, or different, expectations going into each of those cars?

Bought the Mustang and Camaro during and right after lockdown…so not great.

Similar but different. They each have their strengths.

Buying side...

I have purchased A LOT of new vehicles since 1998. And my expectations are always the same, I go in with no expectations, but for me...

2020 SS did deal all over text and email, including trade (2017 Mustang). Drove to Clearwater and picked it up. Fantastic experience.

2021 Scat Pack local dealer, did deal all over text, picked the car up. Fantastic experience.

2023 ZL1, did deal all over text and email, including trade (2020 RAM Limited). Drove to Ft. Payne and picked it up. Fantastic experience.

2017 Mustang, times were a bit different but drove to dealer, made offer, went back and forth for a bit then bought the car. Fair experience.

Driving side...

No I did not, From reading reviews and forums you can get a pretty good idea of each car before going in. I liked each one for different things. But my favorite is the 650/650 Convertible, they are super rare, especially at this price point.

I've wanted a Hellcat Challenger, especially the wide body, but just never happened to stumble into a showroom and buy one. It would have been an impulse buy, for sure. My last 3 Mustangs were a 2008 Roush 428R, a 2013 Roush RS3 and last one was a 2011 GT500. My favorite of those 3 was the 428R. Loved the body style and the Roush mods.

The ZL1? It reminds me of my 2016 Z06 convertible I owned and dumped prior to my relocation from Florida to Michigan. Is the ZL1 a keeper? Probably not. I really miss not owning a 60's or early 70's car and I'm not going to own 3 vehicles up in Michigan along with a boat. I'll keep the boat for another year or two then maybe 3 vehicles.

Shooting enthusiast here as well. All though since Covid I really haven't been to the range much. I need to get back into it.

Nope, but I know him quite well. He used to sell bullets.

He's not from Georgia, so he can't win the GA State.

I actually didn't shoot very well with 4 misses out of 230+ shots, but strong performances in the past caused some to stay out of my age group.
