I use them. No fitment issues.

If you have MRC, you will need to grind your strut. I'm hitting something on my MRC when my wheels are fully turned. It's only when the car is on the ground, so I can't find the culprit when it's jacked up, nothing rubs. I'm fairly positive it's the wheel balancing weights. Will need to get a dolly to check.

Hankook Z214s are another option. Problem is they are limited on size which means you pretty much have to run the 18" 315/30. My last TT event I went 2.4 seconds faster with them then the 3Rs but I also added some aero so not a direct comparison.

I get about 4 track days out of the SC3Rs. Anyone have experience with a new set of Hoosier A7s? How do they wear?

Just started using takeoffs at my last track weekend, mainly for cost savings. Previously went through a brand new pair of front 3Rs in 2 days and it's just too painful.
My first experience with slicks is mixed. They looked like they had plenty of life, but got to the track and found there was a nail in the front tire and it was flat. I plugged it and went out anyway. Maybe it's because I switched directly from old Continental ECS tires, but I loved the Pirelli DH slicks. They felt faster than the 3Rs and easily controllable, but I don't have a direct comparison. At NCM I was driving on the Continentals (and getting pretty frustrated with lack of grip), then put slicks on and went 8s faster the next session. I ran 305/660/18 and 315/680/18 without any ABS issues, and PTM seemed to be happy in Race mode. So maybe the slight height stagger helped. Given that the front tires were $100 each, I'm not even that upset that the first one had a nail in it, and I'll keep running takeoffs if I can get them in reasonable condition. |

Any slicks that fit the factory size rims of a ZLE? I try to get a season out of a set of 3Rs and can usually get a few weekends before they are toast by flipping them and have the alignment set for best wear possible. I know I give up some time with that.

Does anyone have an opinion on 300/680/19 front and 320/710/19 rear tires on factory spec wheels? This is a fair increase in tire height and I am not sure if they will or will not rub. Has anyone run these sizes and/or tire heights?
