ET Street R Air Pressure

How low can I go at the strip? 14, 15, 16?

I am guessing 16-18psi. Slicks you would run lower but I don't think a drag radial would like it.

I've been running them around 16 lb. Maybe 15 and a half because my air gauge is old and reads a little low so 14 and 1/2 equals 16 lb

I talked to MT techs at Alanta Tvs shootout a few years back and they told me 19 to 20 psi since the car and driver was 3900 lbs. That's about where I ran the Street Rs all season long. I run my Hoosier slicks at 15 psi on my Lt1 Camaro.

I set mine to 18 cold. I bet they gain a lb or 2 after burn out.
17”

I never go that low. 24-26 usually. Do a burnout to first smoke then drive it out. The car will hook. No need to go that low at all.

When I ran ET Street R’s it was around 22. That is where we’ve been on the Radial Pro’s also. We recheck at every pass - going into and while in the lanes if it’s hot and sunny.
