FYI- For those still waiting...My car had a 4/24/2023 TPW and it was built the target week. My car was delivered by Friday morning of the same week- 4/28/2023 - The TPW week. The dealership was shocked at how quickly my order moved from production to their lot. Though the LGR plant is less then 50 miles away, they still weren't expecting delivery for at least a week or two. What a great surprise! After making a mad rush on Friday to get everything in place to pick her up, driving her off the lot Friday was like a lifetime of Christmas's all rolled up in one. The 5 month wait was worth it! I love the car and can't wait to get her broken in! The V8 has a sound like no other. Popping sound on deceleration is awesome! My advice to those who have been sitting at 1100 for months? Be pro-active...Push (but don't be a pain) the sales manager (not your salesman) to get your order allocated. Ask them for their list to see where your order stands on their dealerships allocation order list. Usually this is referred to as "priority" on the workbench order sheet. And if you have too many months invested in a dealership that isn't using their allocations on your order? Hey DC, joined the site specifically because of this very kind resource.
Would you mind checking in on order #: CGRJB3 This is an order for a ZL1 1LE I placed back in January 14, 2022! I was told it was a 9-month wait, which eventually turned into 12, which eventually caused it to roll over into a 2023 model year, and here I am, 16 months in, still waiting for my allocation.
