I just assumed they stopped the local events and just did the Rally. I went to a couple of the local meet & greets when I first bought my car. There were less then 6 guys each time, so I assumed they just stopped them.

Bolted on the new hood today and installed the push lock hood pins. It’s a fibreglass hood with carbon fiber overlay by Carbon Creations. Only 25 pounds and got rid of the gas filled hood shocks.

Does anyone know with the satin black appearance package if the mirrors are painted the body color under the black?

I scratched my passenger side mirror on my 2018 and it appeared to be gray primer underneath.

Wouldn't make sense to paint twice over the primer and waste the first basecoat altogether.

i know years ago auto zone used to have paint kits for calibers now all they gave is spray paint for them

Very nice! Does the cowl obstruct the drivers view?

Ok I was hoping it was painted. Don’t too much care for the black mirrors. Found a 2SS exactly how I want it except it has that one package I don’t care for.

My 2018 had the black appearance package, which I like. My new 1SS doesn't but I don't mind.

No obstruction IMO and the hood arrived with no damage because of great packaging. The finish for carbon is like glass.
