I've done the tail in my Datsun 240Z and my Camaro SS 1LE. Being a smaller car, the Z was more fun since there was room left to maneuver in the lane. I felt like I was taking up the entire road in the Camaro, with no room for error. In fact, I had a really close call during my run in the Camaro. I was following a friend of mine at a decent clip and as we dove into a blind left hairpin, we came face to face with some moron driving an 18 wheeler going the opposite direction that was blocking both lanes! Thankfully, it was one of those rare turns where there was an outside shoulder barely a car width wide. But it was just enough to give us an escape route with some hard braking.

Yikes! Coming around the corner to a car in your lane is an unfortunate hazard, that's why it pays to keep a little in reserve. An 18-wheeler though, man, I've seen the whole road shut down because once they go down, they get stuck. There's a lot of warning signage from the TN side, but nothing from the NC side.

I've taken an NC Miata, E30, E36 M3, F30 328i, C5 Corvette, and the Camaro definitely feels wide.

I'm about an hour and a half away, so don't get the chance as much as I'd like.

I took my Veloster N quite a few times and I compared videos of when I took my Veloster N vs the Camaro 1LE. My Veloster N was tuned so was making more power than stock. I think the Veloster N was slightly quicker and just felt a bit more fun too. I was also driving pretty reserved in the Camaro with that ticking from driver side which I am taking to dealership on Wednesday for. I was able to do a lot of shifting from 2nd to 3rd and occasional 4th. The Camaro was basically 2nd the entire time. I do think I will start getting into bolt-on's this year. My goal will probably be Headers, CAI, maybe throttle body and E85 with the tune.

Is it ticking only under high corning loads? If so, have you checked the lug nut torque yet? Start with that (140ftlbs). If they're torqued properly but still ticking, then it should just need the wheel to hub interface spotlessly cleaned of any grease and reassembled dry. The ticking comes from the wheel shifting around under corning loads and striking the hub pilot.
