Run-Flats to Regular summer tires
Hello Ya'all can someone tell me if I replace my factory Goody. Eagles for Firestone Indy 500's, can they reuse the factory TPMS sensors or do I need to buy 4 new ones. I tried to find this in the forum no Luck.
Thanks. |

As long as the batteries are good, the sensors are good. |

+1 for reuse.
It wouldn't matter if you mounted mud boggers on there, the TPM sensors would still work the same... |

+2 for re-use, although I have seen posts saying the battery life on TPM sensors are about 6 years and you can't replace the batteries, you have to get new sensors at that time.
My sensors are 6 years old and working fine. ![]() BTW, you can buys a sensor re-learn tool for $9.99 on Amazon if your sensors get scrambled when the new tires are installed. |
