DC,
At your leisure, I see a ton of built with no ETA or delayed ETA. Can you please give us a sense of the issues with shipping? That would be helpful. Just a suggestion.
Cheers,
Me

Just curious, I wonder if those of you with delayed ETA's could post up your car builds. It would be nice to see if there is some pattern. My very uneducated guess is that since the front splitter was on constraint when my order was accepted recently that it may be builds that require it to be completed.

Mine has been that way for over 14 weeks. I have a hard time believing it is just waiting for shipping. Maybe some parts? I got a couple text alerts with VINview that has bounced from supplier hold to bayed and back to supplier hold. I can't get any real information from the dealer or calling GM. Thanks.

I asked the same question awhile back and you can see his answer above. There is no way he or the dealer really knows what the shipping issues are. GM has not provided any details and will not disclose any information on any parts issues as well.

Mine are 2SS 1LE, 6MT, Sharkskin with NAV. My status has been 3800 with delayed or no ETA for over 14 weeks.

Hey Chevy, I would like to check on my Camaro. I assume its still delayed ETA since I see no update on my dealers website or see my car in transit on Chevys site.

VIN: 1G1FH1R72P0138652

I was under the impression the order wasn't picked up until the parts were ready and once it says "built" its actually completed and just waiting on a rail car out of there. I think the biggest issue is just having the cars to fill the train that is going to whatever location. If you live out in the middle of nowhere and nowhere I would assume the trains don't go there as often and its not as profitable for GM to just put one car on a shipment.

Mine should be delivered around Atlanta so I am not sure what is taking it so long, there are quiet a few high volume Camaro dealers that I am aware of around here.

23' 2SS 1LE thought, radiant red with red seat belts. Hoping for some good news soon, its been built for a month now.

Target Production Week, its the week your Camaro is supposed to be built on. You might get a TPW of 5/15 and you car gets built that week, say on 5/18.

Please read this sticky thread in the same section as this thread. Pretty much answers all questions concerning the ordering process. Should be mandatory reading by all, including the status information in the first page of this thread.

If the dealer tells me an ETA of 5/10 from vinview, is that the same system you use or they can see more than you? i e. Should I trust that ETA from them?
