Question for Michelin Pilot Sport P4 S tires...

I don't trust my eyesight as much as I used to, but does anyone see a rotation indicator on their P4S's (the summer only "extreme performance" tires)?

I see an "outside" label but no other indication about rotation. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

Because those only "care" about outside, not rotation. If you see "outside" label, looking from outside - then you good. If you see "outside" laying under your car - no bueno

Even if you miss the OUTSIDE label, they should be mounted where the LARGER tire groove is to the INSIDE of the car when they are mounted just like this picture below. The SMALLER tire groove is to the far outside of the car.

These are the 305 30 19 4S tires on MY car. In the second pic you will notice the OUTSIDE label is just to the RIGHT of the tire size on the sidewall of the tire. They DO NOT have a directional arrow that you see on some tires.

Right, they are asymmetrical but not directional. If they were both, then Michelin would have to make separate left and right tires and you'd have to buy two of each. That would be a nightmare!

Well that’s a good point. I guess that’s why no one in the world makes a tire that is both to my knowledge. Lol

Nitto 555's and I'm pretty sure the OE Good Year asymmetrical run-flats were as well.
