Hi guys, I just bought two VP racing 5.5-gallon fuel jugs for track use. I am wondering if these two jugs fit in the trunk. If not, will it be safe to put them on the rear seat, any smell of gasoline?

I have a 6 gallon plastic gas jug, fits in the trunk no problem. If your jugs have a permanently fixed spout , it may not fit
