I don't think you need to trim. I would just call or email Dave Steck @ DSX tuning and he will give you what you need. I know my brother had a custom lid made that "looks" like a stock LT4 supercharger lid for his 2650. And it absolutely screams now...

That is the one I'm looking into, I've been speaking with Matt @ DSX. Thanks for the suggestion!

That lid is awesome!

"What's that you say? Is it a "2650"? I'm not sure what that is? This is the stock supercharger. And the ZL1's came with black throttle bodies and open-element air intakes, too. It was a special car, you know."

HAHA that's the look i'm going for, and living in Cali if they ask to pop the hood and just see the open air intake i'm ok with it, since stock photos will look the same....there is a noticeable difference in sound as well correct?
