Ouch, sorry to see that… My XC90 rings like a Xmas sled on Dec 24 on the lowest setting. She might have been really distracted.

Hope Allstate makes it easy for you (they sure did when I stupidly wrecked my 2018) and you'll have the car back on the road soon.

Make sure the front suspension is thoroughly checked and repaired if necessary, looks like she also hit the wheel slightly from the side, so control arms or the tie rod could be impacted.

Thanks! I hope Allstate is easy to work with. The lady who hit me was from out of state, but at least her coverage is with a national company.

I'm worried about the suspension too. I was able to slowly drive the car two miles home. I didn't notice any issues going straight, but had some rubbing when turning. I made sure there was at least a finger gap between the tire and the fender before I started driving. The tire might be rubbing on the fender liner when I turn.

Sorry that happened man, but glad you're ok. I was side swiped on the freeway a few weeks ago in my truck. Just minor damage & it all buffed out but it's so frustrating. Just got done installing a dash cam to hopefully help avoid any BS with liars & insurance in the future. Hopefully I won't need it.

Damn that sucks man ... I feel for you cuz I've had a couple cars I cared for a lot get hit and nothing can make it right at the time it happened. Glad you're good though

Thanks guys! It's been a hard day. Just went out and took a close look at the damage in the garage. The more I look at it the more damage I see. Really sucks!

Sorry to hear about your accident. From the looks of it, probably will be OK. As long as the chassis frame isn't bent, your looking at 2 panels, a wheel, and maybe some suspension arms to replace and things should be good as new.

Thanks! I hope you are right. I definitely want it to be back as good as new. The car only has 3,200 miles on it.

I’m sorry that happened to you. I hope the insurance fixes everything and you can get it back to what it was before.

I live in Florida and I have to drive thinking some idiot will crash into me at anytime. The stupidity over here is at all times high. I’m always watching out for people pulling out of parking spaces because a lot of them don’t even look

And dont get me started about the amount of people who just cut you off and dont even accelerate to match your speed.

Anyway, I’m sorry. That blue color is so pretty, I’d be pissed
