It did snow shortly after my pics were taken. NE OHIO weather is ridiculous. Today it's almost 60 and two days from now it might be 18 and snowy. Plus it's in storage mode with my insurance company. That's okay. I waited this long to get the car, a few more weeks won't hurt.

It is a great feeling. Grandkids and a nice car! Thanks.

I waited nearly 30 years myself to finally get my Camaro dream car. Mind you I ordered a 2022 in January 2022, was supposed to be delivered May 23rd to the dealership, found out May 2nd it had gotten stolen from the plant and wrecked. Had to get a 2023 since 2022's were ramping down production, replacement car was completed July 12th and FINALLY got to the dealership on September 6th, 2023. Hell of a journey for me to get my first Camaro but it's nice to have it in the garage now!
Enjoy your new Camaro!!
I remember reading about your situation shortly after joining this forum. I couldn't even imagine. Glad you got it all squared away though.

Your story sorta reminds me of mine...
In 1978 (when I was a young lad) I ordered a 1979 trans am with all the goodies I wanted. Gold in color, manual, T-tops, 400 CI V8, etc.

I waited, and waited, and waited, until I finally said the heck with it. Went into the dealership and got my deposit back. Then I bought a truck. Though I had lots of fun with the truck 4-wheeling, I always wished I'd have gotten that car. Well guess what? Within a week of my truck purchase the dealer calls and says "your car's here, do you want it"? Talk about being mad...

I've regretted the decision ever since and have never had a "sports car" once getting married, having kids, etc.
Kids are all out on their own and after hearing that this may be the Camaro's last hurrah, I decided to order a LT1 exactly the way I want it.
And here I am again...Ordered the vehicle Dec. 6, and 3 and a half months later the dealer still hasn't gotten an allocation! Very frustrating that 40 years later GM still can't fill an order. I'm trying to be patient, but the closer it get's to the model change-over to 2024 the angrier and more frustrated I get!

Enjoy your ride!
I'm really hoping you get that allocation soon. I was also getting frustrated and angry, almost to the point that I seriously began looking at a '23 Mustang GT Premium. I was losing faith with GM and I knew if I didn't figure something out soon, I would likely jump into that Mustang. It was at that point I decided to start scouring the lots because my heart was with the Camaro. My LT1 was basically my exact build outside a couple aesthetics so it was all good. I hope you hear something soon my friend. Good luck!

Thank you. I have really come full circle with the front end. At first I didn't like it, but I think allot of that is the stigma around it being a base model look. Once I got past that I am really happy with my decision. My only complaint are the rear brakes, but I will have to learn to deal with that. I am also trying to figure out if the chrome accent pieces on the front bumper, that come with the RS package, come off easily as I don't care for those either. Haven't went down that worm hole of looking yet.

We definitely didn't pay 100% of the weddings but there was definitely an out of pocket expense on our behalf. My wife and I are also anticipating the birth of granddaughter #4 in about 1 month, so allot to look forward to in the next 3-5 weeks.

Congratulations on the new Grandbaby on the way, I have 4 and another on the way, starting young and not ready is a up hill climb. Both my girls were not ready and realize what they gave up. Congratulations to you , raising you daughters, going back to school and doing well.
You have so much time ahead of you, 47 + 20 for me. Enjoy life and your Camaro my Friend.
Happy Motoring
Thank you. Congrats on the grandbabies and hope all goes well with the newest baby on the way.

Sure does. Twins! I wouldn't put a front plate holder on my car, but that decorative plate, and the color scheme look really good.

Thanks man. The garage was actually a big selling point when we purchased 6 years ago because the Camaro has been in talks for the entire 15 years my wife and I have been together. The garage is nice but I do have allot of work to do to get it rearranged now that a real car is taking up the 3rd bay. I want to remove this epoxy flooring because I don't think it was done correctly. It's chipping along the relief cuts and driving me crazy but I'll get it there.

Thanks to everyone else who replied with nice comments as well. I appreciate it. Hope everyone is enjoying their 'Maro's, and to all of those like me who have to wait - SOON!!!

Congratulations
What kind of deal did you manage?
I paid $800 under MSRP for my 2022 1LE because of the supplier discount.
How did you get that plaque?

The plaque is from deadbranddesigns.com. It's a really cool piece to have.

I really don't like to talk numbers to much, but MSRP was $44,635.00 ($6840 of that in options). It was advertised as online $43,635.00, so $1000 off before I even made a call and I wiggled them down a bit more from there. In the end I got the discounts for First responder and student thanks to my wife. I also got them to add the 100K powertrain warranty, so pitting one dealership against the other paid dividends there. Once it was all said and done, I was very happy with my OTD price.

As you would certainly know. The last couple years have been a rough go for us. Old khaki pants really put a hurting on us. Glad to see the rivalry coming back. There's nothing better than, THE GAME., especially when you have a ❌ichigan rooting stepson to bust balls with. 😁

Where did the build plaque come from ?

I've already have bought a new gas cap, LED sidemarkers, Smoked rear reflectors and a build plaque. I'm sure there will be more to come. Just waiting for spring to tint the windows, and get PPF installed. I will probably start deciding if I will lower her a bit or get new wheels. Until then she's currently in the garage, waiting for NE Ohio weather to cooperate. My NOCO Genius 10 maintainer should be here tomorrow afternoon so I can keep her charged up and ready to go.

Love the car and the Build Plaque

The 245 wheels are okay but...i’m wanting a wider setup myself. The first 35k miles sure went fast for me! I was very happy with my first V8 LT1 as well. Congratulations.
