Heated/Cooled Seats not working

So i removed my seats a while back to deep clean, & i didn’t notice till a few weeks later that my seats don’t heat nor cool. the lights don’t even come on at all & i’m not sure what the problem is, i tried unplugging n replugging but that didn’t make a difference. if anyone could help me figure this issue out that’d be great, i’ve tried looking up on yt and on here but no one seems to have had this issue. Please & Thank you!

There are some posts on here where members completely removed and disassembled the seats. Pictures too. Not an easy job.
try a search for "adding heated seats"

If you have your seats replaced, you have to have the BCM reflashed to get it to recognize the new seats or the same things happens - the heat and air don't work. Maybe the BCM reset itself when you had them out? If you can't find anything else wrong, you might have to try the dealer.

He didn't have the seats replaced, he just removed them to clean under the seats.

OP has everything in place so the seat should work:
2SS with the proper BCM and wiring.

This is one of the threads I remember. There is a lot of info here, but it should also help in verifying that proper signal is getting to the seats, because we all agree that unplugging and replugging the same seats on a 2SS should not cause them to stop working.

It may have set a BCM code (no light) and now the code needs to be cleared before they will work again. I would try disconnecting the battery first to see if it will clear.

Run down to you local auto parts store. Almost all of them will hook up a scanner and scan/reset codes for free. Maybe you just have a code that needs to be reset from removing and resintalling the seats... .Dang.. I have to say... removing the seats to clean under them? Wow... that's dedication there.

This video implies that the memory module for the seats can affect the behavior of heating/cooling. Shows how to reset it on a Cadillac, which is basically unplug/replug:

Ok i got mine working. Just as geoff said, the bcm has to be reflashed to recognize all the modules. You will need a full diagnostic tool to do that (not just the obd2 code scanner)DMme if you need additional info.
