I'm in the same boat, and had the same concern. My dealer told me that it wouldn't make a difference because once they receive allocation they will find out what the constraints are at that time and inform me accordingly to drop whatever needs to be dropped.

No, it could wait weeks or months in the lot for chips. Or, it could get everything it needs. But still could wait months for transport. Best case it sits 2 weeks after TPW for transport, worst case...6 months?

Interesting. When I ordered mine the vtd (2nd gen ground effects in carbon flash metallic) this was is an LPO item installed at the dealer and shipped separate from the vehicle to the dealer parts department. They should be able to do that unless none in the supply chain.

I'm looking at ordering the splitter and rockers from ACS Composites.

Their 1LE 2.0 front splitter is exactly the same dimensions as the factory installed splitter according to their staff, it may be these guys provide the OEM splitter. I had sent them a picture of the GM installed splitter on my RS and they confirmed that it is a match to theirs. It is not as big as the GM ZL1 splitter which is fine by me.

Haven't got a build date yet but it should be soon, awhile before I need to order anything.

If it has a TPW, that means it will be built. That would imply that all of the options are available. Sometimes some of the chips are left out and the completed car may sit for a while. Shipping often has delays.

Thats exactly what I've been looking at doing for mine. I believe we are quite close to each other aswell, I recognized the dealership from one of your posts. Southern Ontario. Do we save on shipping if we order 2 sets together? Lol

That pic I put up was from the Essex dealer, they had a Radiant Red 'Vert I wanted to see in person since that is my new Camaro's color. Were actually in Lakeshore. I really liked that Radiant Red, mine is also a 'Vert. After seeing the wheels on that Essex car I changed my order and went with those wheels as well, they made me take off the splitter and rockers so I saved a bunch of money. Used that excuse with my wife to order the more expensive wheels. Didn't mention to here I will order the splitter/rockers later on

Not sure of my status. Just changed my order friday. Hoping for a build week sooner then later now that i removed the splitter and side rockers. I ordered mine Jan.16. Black LT1

how long ago did you edit your order to remove the items and add the upgraded wheels? before you went to 3000 status?
