front end ground clearance
Can someone tell me the stock height of the front splitter on a ZL1?
How much clearance is there? Thanks |

I don't have mine in hand yet, it's going on the trailer next week from Iowa
I need to know what the lowest point is on the front so I can make sure I have enough clearance to get in my driveway. |

I'm in the same boat. My ZL1 in currently on a train and heading to CA. My C6 Z06 would scrape a little coming out of my driveway unless I came out at a really sharp angle. I don't know if the ZL1 is similar in height or taller.

I don't have a measurement but in my sub the curbing "gutters" have a decent dip. I back into my garage so I back into the driveway. I must back in at an angle to keep from scraping. I'm sure I would hit the street backing straight in.

If you search up some of the race ramp threads (and/or trailer threads), you'll find the 67" race ramps (10" rise over 67" run) clear the front. The approach angle on the ramp is about 8.5 degrees. Might want to have some 2x10's handy for unloading the trailer, and tell the dealer to LEAVE IN the spring spacers so the hauler w/ trailer has some extra room for loading/unloading and doesn't break your splitter. Spacers should add at least 0.5" to 1" to the front end height and help you at least into the driveway at least the first time.
