no garage door home link on my 2022?
Were no Camaro's after 2020 fitted with home link, or was it only available on more loaded cars?
My 1SS 1LE doesn't appear to have a home link for the garage door opener. |

My 2SS doesn't have it either. I caught a little flak from my wife because her 2020 Blazer has it.

As I recall it was discontinued due to the rear view mirror camera in the 2SS/ZL1.

You can, however, retrofit aftermarket units that are either visor or headliner mounted, the wiring in the console can still be tapped. Here is an example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A79G9FY

Homelink is now an App on your phone, not physical button on the car.
https://connect.homelink.com/connect...pener-training Also, individual garage door openers have their own apps. OK, Boomer? |

<--- not a boomer While this might be true, I would find it more funnierest if someone was researching whether or not a car in 2020+ has a remote built in. I personally found out the hard way with my 2020 and was not happy about it, could not fathom why a 50+K car did not have one built in. I never in a million years would have thought to research that.

When I was researching alternatives to the 2023 ZL1 I recently ordered, I discovered that upscale European cars not only still have garage door openers, but also 360 degree cameras, front as well as rear parking assist, built-it toll transponders, and in some cases robotic parallel parking.
Yet I want a Camaro. Whether it ever gets built is another matter. |
