make sure the relief spring is the correct pressure, whatever you use (22 psi)

I believe the taller PF63E is also a 22 psi filter, and it has been used with success by some.

It's been working for the LT4 (in the Z06, ZL1 and CTS-V) for years. It may look puny but it does the job it's meant to do.

Many owners have driven their car without issue on road courses for years on it as well.

My 06 GTO, 12 135i and my 02 WS6 all had oil filters the size of the LT4.

If it ain't broke, then why fix it?
