ZL1 Oil and Differential Change
Hello Guys!
Proud new owner of a 2023 A10 ZL1 and had a general question. I changed my oil at 700 and 1400 miles using Mobil 1 0W-40 Supercar oil and I changed my diff oil last night using 10-4034 fluid also at 1400 miles. The fluid that came out as most people have said was absolutely horrendous. I was wondering what you guys think about doing another Diff Fluid change at 2500 miles just to make sure all the break in gunk is out of there? I can get both quarts of the required fluid for about $28 and I already have a pump to get it up there so it really does not require a ton of money, just wanted second opinions. Thanks guys! |

I did mine at 1000 and again at 2500 and then once a year after that. Its not much money for the piece of mind. It looked pretty dirty again at 2500.

I did my Diff two weeks ago at about 6months and 5K miles and the plug had a good 1/4" of gunk attached to it. I don't plan on doing it again any time soon.

It’s such an easy service I’ve done it every other oil change.

I have done mine twice and the second time was almost as bad as the original. Doing it again before Summer.
