Can't post on HPTuners forum... auto delete...

OK, HP Tuners VCM Editor v5.0.4, NO EXHAUST parameters. Can't add them, can't find them. I've read that EPA made them remove it. Some ref the older 4.x version has these parameters which I don't have. I did do the online HPTuners Tools education/quiz for all EPA and Turning stuff, got the parameters codes and link my device/VCM Editor, but still nothing. So I was hoping someone could shine some light on my issues... private message me if needed. Thanks in advance!

you have to license the CCM controller in order to see the NPP exhaust settings.

OK! I figured it may be something like that... I've been waiting for HP Tuners to get back with me since Thursday regarding this! I did buy additional credits... but something just isn't linking correctly!

thanks for the confirmation!!!

Also I was total that my car only requires (4) credits to unlock the controllers... to get the CCM unlocked will I need to but additional credits. trying to so so I though an additional credit might be needed, I ended up buying (2) additional credits. I actually think I might have forgotten how to "unlock" modules.

Well, those 4 credits open the ECM, and the T93 TCM can't be tuned.

You CAN, however convert your T93 to an unlocked T87a with the HHP conversion kit, which you can then tune (requiring 4 more credits).

I'm not sure which CCM model the new cars use, but if it's the C304a, it's 3 more credits to tune your exhaust.

HPTuners Mods' have/will delete threads about an issue you are talking about, though, I don't think that's what you're really looking for.

If you're talking about the EXHAUST setting under the ENGINE tab, you'll need an older version. I believe, about this time last year, they phased that out, but I think that was mostly for cold-start type stuff. That was the version you're talking about. If you're talking about valve tuning, answers were already stated.

Yeah, I have almost nothing there in version 4.x, see below. Catalytic converter warmup thresholds and that's it.

As stated above, licensing the extra controller is what OP needs for NPP tuning.

Yeah, one thing I actually want to change, is how the cold start routine works. One thing, I 100% hate is how the car on a cold start, kind of sounds like an annoying screaming eagle for the first 30 seconds or so. During this period the timing is negative until the cats temps are triggered and it get's back into regular timing. I want to change this. I live in an older build neighborhood where the houses are very close together, even when I start up in Snow/Ice mode, I'm preying I don't bother any of my neighbors with the sound. I wish HPTuners kept the older software in a repository for downloads. UGH!

HP Tuners is consistently working on being more emissions compliant which means removing tables that we used to be able to access.

Many of us try to operate on older firmware until we are absolutely forced to update.

Thanks Mike! Would you know if say my MPVi3 has updated it's firmware, will the old version of VCM Editor still work as "the old version" features did in the past? Then the next question, any way to go back to the older firmware if it's not work correctly with the older software?

PS: So much for "Right to Repair" !!!!
