It happened :( Buddy got in car with a screwdriver in pocket and BAM!

Needless to say I'm disappointed. A few years back I was able to order covers for my C7 and turn my Sport seats into Competiton seats. The fact my Camaro is a FIFTY with the one year interior I fear I might be screwed. It is very minor and an interior shop can likely repair and it doesnt have to be perfect, but I just don't want it getting bigger. Anyone have an idea if replacement covers are available?

I have no other advice then contacting GM for a seat cover replacement. Also, make your friend pay for it.

If there's a custom automotive interior shop close by, they might be able to just replace the damaged panel. At least find out if there's a cost savings. Otherwise, order a new cover from your dealership. I would find an interior shop to swap it out. Dealers don't generally have anyone with those skills.

I punched a hole in a favorite leather jacket by leaning against the edge of a latch in a folding conference room partition. The damage was similar in size to the one in your photo.

After much research, I fixed it with Loctite Vinyl, Fabric & Plastic Flexible Adhesive.

I carefully applied the adhesive to both sides of the tear with a toothpick and joined the surfaces. I covered the repair with painter's tape and left it alone for 24 hours. Five plus years later, the repair is intact and barely visible, even though I wear the jacket almost daily, rain or shine.

Sorry but that's irresponsible , apparently he's not a car guy , becauseI never carry anything in my back pockets, but before I sit in a car I still check my pockets, being a car guy . I'm sure a qualified upholster can take the seat apart and fix it . That friend would be covering the cost , or he be walking the plank.
