Red face How to make a V4 sound better?

So I’m one of those people who bought a Camaro mainly because I like how it looks and didn’t care for it to be super fast (V6 or V8). To be honest I only bought a Camaro because the V4 exists, I couldn’t justify spending that much money on gas with my long commutes.

Anyway, it really bugs me that it sounds like a leaf blower lol …

Can you please help me with exhaust ideas? I’ve watched a couple of videos from people doing a muffler delete. Anyone has had any luck making it sound better?

This is a video of a V4 turbo with a muffler delete:

Video of a Borla-ATAK exhaust system:

If you have a V4, then hold on to it because it is extremely rare and will be worth more than the v8 over time simply because of its rarity.

You have an L4, not a V4 in your car. Mine doesn't sound like any leaf blower I've ever heard but to each his own. I'd like mine to be a little louder, but not at the expense of becoming a droner on the highway or sounding like a Civic with a fart can. Four cylinder exhaust tuning is a really touchy thing.

What does an "L" configuration engine look like?

Also wrong. It's i4 aka inline 4.

Since you still insist on calling it a V4, read this first, then go out and open your hood.

I’m a woman, I couldn’t care less. This thread is for exhaust help, never asked about the technical name for the 2.0 L turbo. Go back and read the title

Go to youtube and record a V8 Camaro. Bluetooth the recording into your radio, and then turn it up as loud as you can. Problem solved!
