Zl1 1le A10 owners
Seeing that our cars our calibrated differently than the regular Z in track mode Would this be the best drive mod for the majority of racing. Track and street? It definitely feels like it!!!! As it holds the rpm longer

Are the modes different between the 1LE and the regular ZL1? There are several "modes" within "TracK" to choose from.....on both versions of the car.

I usually leave mine in sport mode when driving in town. Sport allows it to go into performance mode when driving aggressively. On the drag strip, I use track mode and turn all the nannies off by holding the T/C button down 5-7 seconds. On a road course, I use track mode set on sport 2 if its war and totally dry.
Mostly, I think its personal preference. |

On the street you may want to keep stability control on.

For the ZL1 1LE, this transmission gets a new Track Mode calibration, and the way it interacts with Chevy's clever Performance Traction Management system and electronic limited-slip differential has also been changed. There's also a new oil pan for the transmission and additional cooling added for the steering gear, and Chevy even modified the ZL1 1LE's Multimatic DSSV shocks to deal with the quicker shifts of the auto. But beyond that, this is the same thing that's available in the regular ZL1. So that’ being said I was just curious would I get faster times 0-60 etc ob track mode not including messing with nannies which I already no makes a difference, guess the best way to find out is self test

Sport 2 is one of the selections available in ESC mode. Start the car, select Track Mode. Press the T/C button twice to bring up the ECS menu. Now the mode button cycles through the ESC menu of "wet mode, dry, sport1, sport 2, race" instead of the normal "snow/ice, tour, sport, track" . To return to the standard non esc mode, press the T/C button again. If you want to turn all the nannies off totally, press and hold the T/C button anywhere from 5 to 7 seconds and you'll get the message "ESC off". |

This states: "“This transmission is optimized for speed,” said Camaro Chief Engineer Mark Dickens. “With unique Track Mode calibrations and 10 gears, you are always in the perfect gear when rolling on or off the throttle. You may not be a professional race car driver, but now you can shift like one.” |

I have the A10 in my SS 1LE and you definitely don't want to run in Track Mode on the street. It is not friendly for street driving.
